The mysterious Archean Pyramid discovered by
accident in the lost expanses of the Saudi "Empty
Quarter". The vast dune desert and shifting sands
may have contributed to the ruins being found until
modern times. The same pyramid may have been
last mentioned in 1924.
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - Saudi Arabia,
unlike Egypt, never built massive pyramids
for tombs or technological displays to envy
the world with their awe inspiring
architecture. However, faculty from King
Ahmed University of Archaeology have
recently found a mysterious, crumbling
stone step pyramid that appears to be
some billions of years old.
A university spokesman, speaking for the
university, said it could be one of the
oldest artificial structures ever found.
The fifty-foot upcropping, which was
thought to be the apex of the pyramid,
was thought to be an indication of the
much larger construction still buried
underground by shifting sands. Found by a
King Ahmed University team, and headed
by Dr. Hussan Makor, while searching for
primitive Neolithic artifacts near Wabar,
the teams used a ground penetrating
radar system (GPR) brought for the
original expedition and decided to
deployed the equipment on the site. The
upcropping, isolated in the Empty
Quarter's barren deserts, turned out to be
the protruding collection of newly
discovered stone structures which have no
scientific origin or explanation.
During the Egyptian dynasty of 300 BC to
877 AD, Nile River civilizations built large
stone pyramids as tombs for their kings
and for religious acts. But while the
Egyptian pyramids marked some of the
earliest known civilization in history, this
"Archean Pyramid" as archeologists are
now calling it, disrupts all theories of earth
geological history.
The buried structures themselves are
unknown. Over 12 have currently been
found. However, shifting sands after a
severe dust storm can bury and rebury an
archaeological find so it no longer be
found without GPS.
“This is indeed a revolutionary discovery
for the university,” says Dr. Makor. “We’re
forced to completely rehash our
understanding of early history.” Dr. Makor
believes that this shakes the very core of
prehistoric studies.
Location of the Archean Pyramid in Saudi Arabia.
The pyramid site is only accessible using
tracked vehicles, and the expedition
labored nearly four days using GPS
satellite tracking until they reached the
Wabar site. The ever shifting sand dunes
of the Empty Quarter and sandstorms
obscuring any landmarks made the 600-
mile journey from civilization not only
exhausting but perilous. Powdery,
irregular dunes and distance make aircraft
and helicopter applications impossible. The
temperatures at the site also reach
daytime units of 122 degrees Fahrenheit
(50 degrees Centigrade).

2018 showing a large stone structure surrounded by
concealing dunes. Such scenes run for hundreds of
miles, making directional bearings and landmarks
nearly impossible to render.
The buried complex has several unusual
features, which the Makor team labeled as
'Egyptian' names for research reference.
First, the "mortuary temple" was
constructed into an L-shape rather than
the typical T-shape of the Old Kingdom;
an alteration caused by the presence of
mastabas east of the site of the temple.
Second, incorporated into the design of
the temple was an innovative type of new
room, the anti-chambre carrée, that
became a standard feature of later
monuments.
In addition, there is an unexplained square
platform in the temple which has led
archaeologists to infer that there may be
an obelisk pyramidion nearby to it. This is
unusual as obelisks were central features
of Egyptian sun temples, but not of
religious pyramid complexes. Finally, there
are two structures found in the north- and
south-east corners of the complex which
appear to have been pylon prototypes.
These, too, became staple features of
temples and palaces in a later Middle
Kingdom period.

University team an opening that was speculated to be
an air shaft deep into the pyramid. (Lower right)

(Upper right) Obelisk structures show glyphs and
pictographs of an unknown or mythical species of
armored worm.
Indeed, hundreds of stone geoglyphs have
also been located, which are referred to by
the local Al Murrah tribes as ‘works of the
ancient demons’.
A small bricked opening, measuring 12
feet across near the pyramid's apex, was
breached by the Saudi Geological Survey
team lead by Dr. Ataullah Nasir and may
lead to a lower tunnel complex and
chambers. Dr. Nasir believes it could be
part of an air ventilation system. Utilizing
television robots used for 'robotic
archaeology', the team will reveal if the
pyramid is actually solid or bored with
many passages and chambers. Or whether
they appear to be connected to the larger
set of unidentified structures.
On another note, Dr. Makor had more, he
said, on his report than just accepted
archaeology.
"Here we are again, possibility validating
the Book of Gates and the fringe theories
of Professor Jebidiah Smith about the
ancient Earth past and the world before",
Dr. Makor stated. "Being familiar with the
work there is all certainty our colleagues
at Bourne University will be more than
delighted - if this is proven."
Jebidiah Smith had vanished in 1870
searching for the Lost Pyramid of Xoth,
which according to his writings, would
appear during an astrological event he
called "The Circle of Eternity" in the same
area it occupied on Yidath some four
billion years before. Smith raised an
glamorous newsline vanishing in the Saud
desert, being presumed dead after a
decade.
Later, in 1924, a German University of
Munich military team supported by a
Zeppelin expedition arm traveled to Arabia
in an effort to find the same pyramid,
there meeting a tragic end.
Also found near the site within the
pyramid's apex were stones bearing
unidentified sets of hieroglyphics depicting
an undecipherable symbol language and
carvings of an identified species of
armored worm. This may or may not be a
mythical depiction or an actual extinct
prehistoric animal.
Dr. Makor also uncovered fossilized
remains of human bones, which scientists
are puzzled not only by their modern
appearance but by their presence at the
three billion-year-old site. Later this year,
military tunnel experts from Tabuk are
being consulted to utilize laser guided
radar to map and plan an entrance into
the lower chambers leading from the
tunnel entrance.
